Tata Motors is gearing up for a novel car that works on compressed air. It connote that the Indian auto producer may provide a 'Zero Emission' passenger vehicle to the world after introducing the economical car to the world. As an alternative to fuel combustion, the car operates on compressed air which pushes the pistons. It can afford a top speed of 65 mph and between the two fill-ups it can provide a range of 300km or 186 miles which cost about Rs.80-90 in India.

 

Last year, the India's foremost car producer Tata Motors introduced the world's economical car. Further, the company is geared up to release its first batch in India this year from its Pantnagar manufacturing unit located in Uttarakhand. Previously, the car is tested in the hilly terrains of Himalayas in Chamboli district and the ARAI test also got accepted. With the completion of its new plant in Sanand in Gujarat, the company will be starting its production in the coming year.
