Congratulations to Mazda for that one.European sales of the 2010 Mazda3 5-door Hatchback will begin in spring 2009. It will be offered with a?new MZR-CD 2.2L turbo diesel unit that makes a total of 185-hp and a maximum torque of 295 lb-ft. Combined fuel-economy for the new diesel engine comes in at 42 mpg.?Buyers will also get to chose from a 109-hp MZ-CD 1.6L turbo diesel, a 150-hp MZR 2.0L gasoline unit and a 105-hp 1.6L gasoline. Keep in mind that those engines will only be available in the European market.
