YouTube Daredevilry Leads to Jail Term for British Motorcyclist

LONDON — Sandor Ferenci will probably stay far away from YouTube from now on, but first there is the matter of a 12-week stint in jail. The 28-year-old was sentenced this week to the jail term after he filmed himself riding his motorcycle at speeds up to 130 mph on the public roads of Banbury, Oxfordshire, and posted the video to YouTube. He will also be required to take a test before he can get his license back, after a two-year suspension expires. The Reuters news service reports that Ferenci asked police, when they came to arrest him, 'Is this about the YouTube video?' The less than two-minute video does show him driving at high speeds and performing extended wheelies, as well as crossing the center line frequently. To add insult to injury, wags posting comments about the video are making remarks such as, 'I'm still waiting for the stunts.'Inside Line says: Let this be a warning to the rest of you fans of the show Jackass. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent
