By the end of June, FAW Jiefang Xichai engines production&sales exceeded 172,000 units; both exceed half goal of total year, up 11 percent and 13.5 percent respectively. Generally speaking, Xichai production&sales saw a rising month by month, laid a solid foundation for completing the goal of total year.

 

From Jan. to June, Xichai carried out scientific development concept practice, strictly followed the requirements of FAW and Jiefang Company, and made the company develop better and faster. The company focused on market sales, products development, quality improvement, productivity promotion, management innovation, party building work, strategic research as well as key projects advancement and enterprise culture construction.

 

In the first quarter, Xichai engines market saw a rising, diesel engines sales reached 70,000 units. In the second quarter, Xichai focused on ¡° grasping direction of market development , strengthening market development, making re-equipping service strong, enhancing  market share, advancing technology progress, accelerating technology optimization, satisfying market demands, guaranteeing products quality and high output; combined with theme activities, promoting business management; enhancing sales and reducing cost, guaranteeing enterprises profit. All these contributed to the good operating results in the second quarter.
