STRUER, Denmark - Bang & Olufsen, the Danish high-quality audio specialist, has signed an agreement with Mercedes-AMG, adding to its list of automotive partners that already includes Audi and Aston Martin. The company will supply high-quality, high-end video-and-audio-based sound systems for Mercedes-AMG vehicles.

'Mercedes-AMG represents high performance and exclusivity. The same is true of Bang & Olufsen's in-car sound systems. Jointly, we are therefore able to meet Mercedes-AMG customers' expectations to sound systems,' says Mercedes-AMG Board Chairman Volker Mornhinweg.

Bang & Olufsen says this agreement should not affect its expectations for the current financial year. The company's latest technology includes a 505-watt audio system that is a $2,000 option on Audi's new lineup.
