Car Buyers Guide - Bad Credit, No Credit, What Does it All Mean?
All I wanted was a car. I did not know that wanting a was going to turn into this type of mess. You have to have credit to get a loan to get a car. To get credit you have to have a loan. And like I said before you have to have credit to get a loan. It is a never ending circle for first time buyers. I was recently told, 'no credit is better than bad credit.' I have seen in the past six weeks of shopping, that may not always be the case.
I started for a when mine became very VERY unreliable. I went to different states. I met with different dealers. I went to banks and finance companies. What did I get? The same answer from everyone. 'Well, right now with your income, and your lack of credit we are going to have to say no.' They all ask if I could have a co-signer, because then it would be possible. Well, finding a cosigner is a big negative. My do not have great credit. Asking someone to cosign on a loan is not something you can just run up and do. Family is great, but they have their own to cosign for. Not that they do not you. I respect that. I understand that they are not able. My question is, why can't everyone else figure that out.
Some people will try and twist your arm, you have to have someone who can cosign. That is not true. One day I would like to yell, I do not have they died and the only reason I kept the is because insurance covered it. Maybe that would keep them from asking me over and over to have them cosign. Or maybe that would just freak them out and make them wonder why I don't just the of my deceased parents. I would have to think of my reply for that one.
Oh, and that little tid bit I said before about no and bad credit. It really is not true. I know from first hand experience. My sister, who recently declared bankruptcy with her found a on their first day of looking. The only reason, they have a greater amount of income. Now, granted, it has been proved that they do not know how to spend their money. That is why they went bankrupt, but they still have enough credit to get a loan. So, here I am still baffled as to why I can not get a loan.
