China 2010 car sales seen up 20 pct

 China's car sales are expected to grow 20 percent this year, a government researcher said on Thursday, maintaining a brisk pace of growth after the country overtook the United States as the world's largest car market last year.

Xu Changming, director of the Economic Research Institute of the State Information Centre, gave the estimate during a presentation to the Beijing Auto Show.
