Meidensha to Make Electric Car Parts in China

Meidensha Corp. plans to produce motors and inverters for electric vehicles in China as early as 2011, the Nikkan Kogyo newspaper said, without citing anyone.

The company plans to mass produce the products at factories in Hangzhou, eastern China, the report said. The investment amount and other details will be decided in the business year 2010, the report said.
