Dongfeng Nissan Jan-Oct sales up 27.39% y/y

Dongfeng Nissan, a joint venture between China's Dongfeng Motor Corp. and Japan-based Nissan Motor Co., sold 276,891 vehicles from January to October, up 27.39 per cent on year, according to sources with Dongfeng Motor.
 
The growth rate was much higher than the 9.47 per cent industrial growth. And the sales volume ranked sixth in China's auto industry.
 
According to statistics by Dongfeng Motor, the annual sales of Dongfeng Nissan surged from 65,012 units in 2003 to 271,915 units in 2007, with ranking leaping from tenth to seventh.
 
Dongfeng Nissan managed a four-fold growth in sales in four years, with a compound annual growth rate of 68 per cent.
