We saw the Mini Crossover Concept earlier this month way ahead of its Paris Motor Show reveal next month. Mini has just sent us over a couple of videos giving us a closer and detailed look at the Crossover Concept.

Besides a look at the overgrown Mini Cooper-like exterior, Mini gives us a closer look at the Mini Center Globe (4:46 into the video). The Mini Center Globe is what Mini calls a new version of the central instrument of the future.

Probably the only thing the Mini Center Globe doesnt do is tell your future. Besides that its a touch-sensitive multi-function display that controls all the major entertainment in the Crossover concept, Bluetooth, navigation. It also acts as an ignition starter. Instead of using the traditional key all the driver has to do is place something called a Keyball into an opening on the top of the Mini Center Globe and thats it. When youre done driving simply press the Keyball and itll slide out of the Center Globe. Just dont go playing catch with your Keyball.
