Continental: Mandatory Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems

At the international level, various bodies are currently discussing whether and how it would be possible and justifiable to mandate electronic tire pressure monitoring systems for all new cars and trucks. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) has already stipulated such systems for cars by law. Continental welcomes the initiative of the US as well as the other international efforts.
