Would you buy the Chevy Volt, Toyota Prius or Honda Insight?
The 2011 Chevrolet Volt is finally here - well sort of, the production model wont hit roads until late 2010. Either way, GM has unveiled the final production version with a couple of technical details. GM says that the Volt can do 40 miles on electric power alone on one single charge. After that the gasoline powered engine kicks in delivering several hundred miles.
Earlier this month, we also saw the Honda Insight Hybrid Concept which will debut next month at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The production model is set to hit roads in April 2009 and is expected to average above 60 mpg. The 2010 Toyota Prius will be unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show with no major changes planned until the next-generation model rolls around (of which a concept version will be shown in Detroit). That means the 2010 Prius is still looking at a fuel-economy of somewhere around 46 mpg.
With all the info and pictures that we have now, were wondering which one you would buy. Vote below and drop in a comment in the comments section after the jump.
