Top rating for crash behaviour for Volkswagen Tiguan

Following its top score in the EuroNCAP test the Tiguan has now also earned a top score for crash behaviour: the independent Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) assessed the Tiguan’s performance in a crash as “outstanding”. The US non-profit organisation subjected the Tiguan to demanding tests to establish the effects of frontal and side impacts and also examined seat performance in a rear-end collision. Result: the accolade of “Top Safety Pick”.
