Hyundai means business, here folk!This is Hyundai's very first premium car and on the paper, it seems to me they have the mojo.Hyundai/Koreans needed this car for awhile...You really have to understand the psch. of the Korean people when it comes to competing with or againest the Japanese.Korea was occupied by the Japanese Imperial Army for approximately 30 +- years. I believe the most Koreans still have deep humiliation from this occupation. The 30 years of Japanese rule of Korea was probably unfathomable by many Koreans due to their pride of the country but the fact is fact. Korea was basically enslaved and completely humiliated by the Japanese for loooong 30 years. (I believe it was in the early 1900 century)Having said that, you have to really understand the gravity of these type of project that Koreans are seeking. This will be Koreans national pride; Hyundai Genesis series of cars. Because Koreans have deep grudge againest Japanese still from the warring past between the 2. I belive Hyundai is trying to prove that they are infact just as capable as the Japanese Juggernauts and better. From what, I understand..the Genesis is a serious car from Koreans and its people's pride.Hyundai Genesis is Premium cars, therefore its competitors are BMW5/7, Lexus LS, Mercedes S, Audi A8, Infiniti M45 not the Avalons, Maximas, etc...Hyundai is definetely serious and so damn seriouos they are attacking the Premium sector! Basically overriding Entry Premium vehicles i.e. Acuras and other.Gotta give them respect for challenging the world's best in such a short time!
