How to Do a Wheelie on a Motorcycle
Learning how to do wheelies is not something that every biker should attempt. It takes precise hand control, mental awareness, and a specific courage carried by only a certain caliber of people. With the following write-up, I will explain one of the most common asked questions about motorcycle riding - how to easily do a wheelie.
Of course before beginning, one must take all the necessary precautions in order to minimize risk of injury. Doing these are dangerous and honestly, it does not matter how much padding you have on, if the bike falls back on you, you most likely will not escape without serious injury. I am not responsible for any injury you receive while doing these dangerous activities.
Ok, when describing this, I am only assuming you have knowledge of the bike's power and have ridden it enough to know the limits. If you just picked up a bike and have only been riding a few weeks, you need to close this window, and ride a lot more before even attempting these.
When learning the wheelies by the following methods, it is best just to remain seated in a comfortable spot. It generally is best to sit towards the back of the seat. You must hold the handle bars firmly, but do not lock your arms, otherwise, you may twist the handle bars making the front wheel land wrong causing the bike to lay down. Do not pull on the handlebars, people say it helps, but your bike does not need any help.
So some extra information that I am sure you are aware of. Police hate wheelies, they will pull you over and can give you a ticket for multiple things such as: wreckless driving, failure to maintain control, demonstration of acceleration. You must wear gear when trying to do this. Helmet/Jacket/Gloves/Strong Pants/Boots are just the minimal things you should wear when attempting wheelies.
