JAC Sets on Marketing 4DA1 Engine

The 4DA1 engine, a neotype engine, was recently put into operation on rural buses by Anhui-based Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (JAC).

From sales of over 100 units in the beginning, JAC 4DA1 engine has seen its sales expand to 255 units in June. ¡°Due to the continuously rising fuel prices, customers now pay increasingly more attention to the fuel economy of engines mounted on the bus,¡± said CHA Baoying, General Manager of JAC Bus Chassis Co.
 
Adopting electronically controlled high pressure common rail fuel injection technology, JAC 4DA1 engine boasts a max. power of 88Kw. Compared with its domestic counterparts, the engine stands out in terms of reliability, noise control, power output and fuel efficiency. Originally mounted on JAC light-duty trucks, the engine has delivered very satisfying performances. Thanks to this, the company has started marketing it on eco-friendly buses, which are now gaining instant popularity among the public.
