Kevin Tobin joins Advance Auto Parts

Advance Auto Parts, Inc., recently announced that Kevin Tobin will join the company as senior vice president and general manager of Financial Services, effective April 28, 2008. In this position, Tobin will be responsible for building market competitive, differentiated and innovative financial services products and services designed to build deeper customer relationships by meeting their needs and supporting the company's key strategies. Tobin will report to Mike Norona, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Prior to joining Advance, Tobin served as executive vice president and managing director at HSBC Card and Retail Services. Before holding that position, he served as senior vice president and group director. Tobin also held various management positions with Allstate Insurance Company in operations, underwriting and sales areas. Tobin has a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor's of Business Administration in economics from the University of Iowa.
